Ukrainian air
defense systems shot down two Russian missiles over central Ukraine on the
evening of May 4, the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration
Ihor Taburets has reported on Telegram.
"Unlike the night before, last night was a quiet one, despite the air raid alert,” Taburets wrote.
“Our air defenses shot down two missiles near Cherkasy," he added.
No one was injured during the incidents, he said.
Russia again launched missile strikes across the territory of Ukraine on the night of May 4.
In Kyiv Oblast, near the town of Brovary east of the capital, the Ukrainian military also shot down an enemy missile.
