Russian forces launch 102 drones in overnight attack on Ukraine - Air Force

Ukrainian air defense neutralized the attack using aviation, anti-aircraft missiles, EW (electronic warfare), UAVs, and mobile fire groups.
Preliminary reports, as of 8 a.m., indicated that Ukrainian air defenses shot down 92 Russian UAVs in the north and east. Eight UAVs made impact at six locations, with debris falling in four locations.
The Air Force warned the attack was ongoing, with Russian drones still remaining in Ukraine's airspace.
On May 7, an overnight Russian attack on Dnipro caused a fire to break out in a five-story apartment and damaged several houses and cars nearby. Two people were injured as a result of the strike, including a 21-year old pregnant woman. They received medical assistance at the scene.
Explosions were also reported in Kharkiv, with a Shahed drone hitting the city’s Osnovianskyi District.
