Zelenskyy's chief-of-staff and Trump's envoy discuss peace and security ahead of upcoming meetings

Ukraine's presidential chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, held talks with U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, as reported by Yermak on X on Feb. 7.

The two discussed Kellogg's upcoming visit to Ukraine, the situation on the front lines, the safety of Ukrainian civilians, and future meetings at the Munich Security Conference.

"A just and lasting peace is a priority for Ukraine," Yermak wrote, thanking the United States for its support.

Earlier, on Feb. 1, Kellogg mentioned that the White House has a "reliable plan" to end Russia's war against Ukraine and initiate peace negotiations.

Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne, citing sources in the President's Office, reported on Feb. 5 that Kellogg's visit to Ukraine is planned for Feb. 20.

Kellogg also confirmed his participation in the Munich Security Conference.
