Public access to the asset declaration register – a database containing declarations of assets owned by government officials and key anti-corruption measure – will soon be reopened, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NAZK) announced on Dec. 7.

According to NAZK, it is aiming to re-enable public access to the register by Dec. 10, after removing data belonging to sensitive individuals from the register. This will ensure around-the-clock access to the database, while maintaining operational security, the agency explained. Full public access will not be granted until the end of martial law in Ukraine, NAZK explained.

On Oct. 10, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed into law Bill No. 9534, restoring open access to the electronic asset declaration register.
