Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence (HUR) has conducted a raid on
the Russia-occupied Kinburn Spit, Mykolayiv Oblast, destroying six armored
vehicles and eliminating about 30 Russian troops, HUR reported on Aug. 9.
The operation was supported by the Ukrainian Naval Forces and other branches of the military.
During the mission, Ukrainian forces attacked Russian fortifications at several locations along the spit. HUR included a photo of the Ukrainian flag at one of them, next to a monument to Russian general Alexander Suvorov.
“Kinburn Spit will be free, just like all other temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine,” the message added.
