“Unfortunately, the railway station will not operate for some time,” Zelenskiy said.
“There will also be issues with departures from Lozova, but Ukrainian Railways is working on this. Alternative locations for boarding passenger trains may be designated near the town.”
In Kharkiv Oblast, suburban train routes have been altered for safety reasons.
In the Lozova municipality, 90% of electricity has been restored following the massive Russian drone attack, and water supply has also been reinstated.
Earlier, Zelenskiy reported that Lozova endured its most intense attack since Russia’s full-scale invasion began on Aug. 5, damaging critical infrastructure, apartment buildings, and private homes.
According to the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, the attack killed two people and left 13 others injured or in acute stress, including seven railway infrastructure workers and two children.
Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, head of Ukrainian Railways’ board, confirmed that one railway employee—a mechanic at a railway unit—was killed, and four others were injured and are receiving medical care. Most railway workers in Lozova reached shelters during the attack.
Russian forces deployed 34 attack drones during the assault, the regional administration added.
