The attack targeted a Nova Poshta sorting depot, with the missile hitting the facility’s vehicle yard. Three workers were injured as a result: one is in critical condition, while the other two sustained moderate injuries.
Nova Poshta stated that it is providing full support—medical, psychological, and financial—to the affected workers and their families.
“Deliveries may be delayed as sorting operations were halted during the air raid alert. Shipments remain undamaged,” the company said.
Earlier reports indicated that Russian forces attacked Kyiv overnight into Aug.28 with Shahed drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, including Kinzhal missiles. A series of powerful explosions rocked the city, with damage reported at 20 locations and up to 100 objects affected, including the destruction of an apartment building section in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district.
As of 12:28 p.m. on Aug. 28, authorities reported 15 fatalities, including four children, and over 40 wounded, among them 10 children. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
