Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Oblast hit in combined Russian attack; fires, infrastructure damage reported

Russia’s combined overnight attack caused fires and heavy smoke in the city of Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Oblast and damaged infrastructure and warehouses, city council secretary Volodymyr Vovkotrub reported on April 25.

According to the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, critical infrastructure, warehouse, and industrial facilities were damaged in the Bila Tserkva district. The enemy also damaged the premises and special equipment of a State Emergency Service rescue unit. There were no civilian casualties.

City hall reported strikes by Russian aerial assets. Emergency services will begin addressing the fallout from the attack as soon as the situation allows, Vovkotrub said.

Residents of Bila Tserkva were urged to tightly close windows and limit time outdoors.

Overnight, Ukraine’s Air Force reported drone groups heading toward Bila Tserkva, as well as missiles toward Kyiv and the region.

Russia carried out a combined strike with 666 drones and missiles across Ukraine. In Dnipro, strikes on residential buildings and an industrial site left three dead and 21 injured.

Hits were also reported in Kharkiv.
