Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the UK on July 27 to meet with Prime Minister Andy Burnham as the UK prepares to transfer the manufacturing rights of its Stone Cloak electronic warfare system to Ukraine, The Independent reported.

Zelenskyy will be Burnham's first foreign guest since taking office a week ago. The leaders will visit a naval base where Burnham will announce that Britain will hand over the intellectual property behind its new “Stone Cloak” electronic warfare system, enabling Ukraine to produce the technology at scale.

The tablet-sized device is designed to block Russian detection of any drones it is fitted to, The Independent wrote. The outlet stated that the UK’s defense ministry has already given thousands of the jammers to Ukrainian forces to bolster their drone operations.

The leaders will meet more than 200 Ukrainian military personnel who have spent the past three weeks in the UK taking part in Exercise Sea Breeze, aimed at strengthening combat capabilities and counter-mise measures in the Black Sea.

Shortly after taking office, UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham pledged unwavering support for Ukraine and reaffirmed his commitment to achieving a lasting and just peace.

On his first day as prime minister, Burnham spoke by phone with Zelenskyy and agreed to a meeting in the near future.

On July 17, Andy Burnham officially took over as leader of the UK Labour Party, and on July 20, he succeeded Keir Starmer to become the country's seventh prime minister in 10 years.
