Casualties reported as Russian invaders attack Sumy Oblast, says governor

Four civilians were killed and another
six were injured overnight after invading Russian forces launched
attacks on Sumy Oblast, head of Sumy Regional Military Administration
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said in a Telegram messenger post on June 16.
According to the official, the Sadivska regional territorial community came under enemy shelling.
Zhyvytskyi said that he would disclose the details about the destruction and damage later.
The governor added that at about 5 a.m., the invaders had launched a single missile strike on the Krasnopillia territorial community. After that, they opened mortar fire from their territory. A total of 26 rounds were recorded.
An outbuilding and a Daewoo Sens car caught fire as a result of the shelling.
Reports of casualties and additional infrastructure damage are being verified.
