Zelenskyy said the iPad is “proof that modern security systems can develop faster and cost less than old defense systems.” He told Parliament the tablet runs software that lets Ukraine’s leadership monitor the security situation on the ground and at the front.
“It allows us to see every major Russian missile attack on our cities — launch points, flight trajectories, likely targets,” he said.
“The system lets us analyze each attack and how our defense responds overall in real time. We see what is happening in the sky and what resources are used for our defense. It’s a clear way to maintain control and adapt to the situation in real time.”
Zelenskyy said the devices are not limited to him: the prime minister, the defense minister, and senior military commanders also have them. He said the system gives full control over movements along the front and that all changes are tracked and verified.
“Ukraine collects, analyzes and uses data on the full battlefield situation,” the president added.
“We track every engagement and change along the front. We have video evidence for almost every figure of Russian losses we report. Just this past winter the Russian Federation lost more than 92,000 killed and seriously wounded.”
Zelenskyy said he began his visit with an audience with King
Charles III and presented him with one of these tablets “as a sign of respect
and gratitude, and to strengthen our cooperation with the United Kingdom.” The
king promptly said he would share it with Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
