A curfew from 2200 to
0700 has been introduced in the capital city of Kyiv, the city’s
mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko,
said on Feb. 24.

Public transport will not be operational during the curfew. However, Kyiv’s subway stations will serve as round-the-clock bomb shelters.
“We ask Kyiv residents to get back in their homes on time,” Klitschko said.
“In urgent circumstances, people who need to move about the city during curfew – for example, critical municipal infrastructure employees – must be carrying valid ID at all times.”
