Russian drone strike kills one, damages 19 homes in Ukraine’s Kirovohrad Oblast

A total of 36 rescuers and seven units of special equipment were involved in the rescue efforts.
By noon, firefighters had extinguished the blaze, which originated in a garage and a house in a private household.
The Russian attack was not confined to Kirovohrad Oblast, as explosions were also reported in the city of Sumy, the suburbs of Dnipro and Kyiv.
Energy facilities in Sumy were targeted, causing a strain on the power system. No casualties have been reported. Emergency services are at the scene of the attack to deal with the aftermath.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian forces fired three Kh-59/69 guided missiles and launched 52 Shahed-131/136, while 46 drones were destroyed by air defense systems.
