"There are a lot of requests for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators now, because the war is becoming more high-tech, with robotic systems and UAVs being used a lot," he said.

"For the same reason, there is a growing need for people from the IT sector to deal with the modern and technological aspects of war."

Lazutkin also noted an increase in requests for rear specialties such as cooks and clerks. Drivers, mechanics, gunners, and scouts also remain in high demand.

He addressed concerns that all recruits are automatically assigned to assault brigades, noting that this only applies to a relatively small percentage of military personnel, and emphasized the importance of various roles in ensuring the efficient functioning of the army on the frontline, including logistics, supplies, administration, and internal investigations.
