This marks Denmark's 23rd military aid package, focusing primarily on enhancing air defense capabilities.
Furthermore, the package includes financial support for the operation of Ukrainian F-16 fighter jets.
“One of Ukraine's most urgent needs is the ability to defend against Russian airstrikes,” said Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
“Therefore, we have prioritized increasing support for air defense.”
On Dec. 9, Denmark announced plans to accelerate the delivery of Caesar self-propelled artillery systems to Ukraine, moving the timeline from 2026 to 2025.
On Dec. 7, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the second batch of F-16 fighter jets from Denmark had arrived in Ukraine.
