Ukraine’s Unified and State Registries offline after Russian hackers attack

Efforts are underway to counter the attack and restore the systems.
“It is already clear that the attack was carried out by Russians in order to disrupt the critical infrastructure of the state. Our specialists are working in an intensified mode to restore access to the registries step by step,” she wrote, adding that there is no threat to other resources, but the state registries.
The priority for restoration will be the State Register of Civil Status Acts, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, and the State Register of Rights to Real Estate and Encumbrances Thereon.
According to Stefanishyna, it will take about two weeks to restore the registries.
"The enemy is trying to use this situation in its information operations to sow panic among citizens of Ukraine and abroad. I thank citizens for their understanding. We will continue to inform you about all important updates".
