and competitors.
A video of the incident was widely shared on social media,
making the animal an instant viral sensation.
Ukraine's duo Anastasiia Nikon and Sofiia Shkatula finished 20th among 26 teams and did not advance to the final. Only the top 15 teams advanced.
The 2026 Winter Olympics run Feb. 6-22 in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. The Games feature 116 medal events across 16 sports.
Earlier at the Games, a German shepherd wearing a badge that
read "Ercole Dimai" was seen at a venue; the badge indicated the dog
appeared to be part of the technical team.
