Russia
continues to advance on the Donetsk front in Donbas, pressing
offensives in the Lyman, Sievierodonetsk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and
Kurakhove directions, the General Staff reported on May 18.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces have launched an offensive in order to establish full control over the settlement of Drobysheve and blockade Lyman from the north.

In Bakhmut and Sievierodonetsk directions, the Russian invaders have concentrated up to 15 helicopters in Luhansk Oblast to support the offensive.
In Mariupol, the invaders focus their main efforts on blocking Ukrainian military units near the Azovstal plant and continue to launch artillery and air strikes.
