Port and industrial infrastructure facilities were damaged in the Odesa district, including administrative buildings, warehouses storing agricultural products, buses and storage tanks.
Fires broke out at the strike sites and have since been extinguished.
Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba said a truck driver was injured in what he described as a targeted Russian strike on the port and received medical assistance at the scene. Silos containing corn at a port operator’s facility were damaged, causing a fire.
Overnight, Ukraine’s Air Force reported groups of attack drones heading toward Chornomorske and Pivdenne in Odesa Oblast.
On April 17, a Russian strike in Odesa Oblast also sparked a fire in the Danube Biosphere Reserve. Regional authorities said port, transport and residential infrastructure were damaged.
