According to rescuers, the strikes sparked fires in two residential homes and damaged neighboring properties. Both fires have since been extinguished.
Separately, regional governor Oleh Synehubov said Russian forces also struck a railway station in Lozova with drones. Two men were killed, and eight other people — five men and three women — were injured. Some of the injured are in serious condition, the official added.
Overnight missile and drone barrage
Overnight into Aug. 6 (starting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 5), Russia struck Ukraine with two Onyx anti-ship missiles launched from occupied Crimea and two Kh-31P anti-radar missiles fired from the Black Sea.
Russian forces also launched 101 Shahed attack drones — most of them jet-powered — along with Gerbera and Italmas drones, as well as Parodiya decoy drones. The launches originated from Kursk, Millerovo, and Oryol in Russia, as well as from occupied Donetsk and Hvardiyske in occupied Crimea.
