At least 73 drones flying toward Moscow were reportedly shot down over the Russian capital’s suburbs overnight, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed early on March 11.

Seven apartments in a residential building were damaged in the towns of Vidnoye and Domodedovo.

“Today at 4 a.m. a massive drone attack on Moscow and Moscow Oblast began,” Regional Governor Andrei Vorobyev wrote on social media.

Russian Telegram channels posted a video of a fire in a high-rise building in Ramenskoye and photos purportedly showing one of the damaged apartments, as well as burned vehicles in what appeared to be a parking lot in Moscow Oblast.
