A fire broke out at the Albashneft oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai following an overnight drone attack, regional Governor Veniamin Kondratiev reported early on Feb. 5.
The fire, which was classified as a second-degree blaze, started after "fragments from the drones fell on a tank of oil product residue."
According to the Astra Telegram channel, the fire had not been extinguished as of the morning.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed that four drones had been shot down over Kursk and Belgorod oblasts, but the report made no mention of Krasnodar Krai.
