Drones attack Perm as fire breaks out and reports emerge of oil refinery strike

Perm came under a drone attack, with explosions and a fire reported in the city on July 29.

According to the Exilenova+ monitoring Telegram channel, drones struck the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery. One of the facility's units caught fire following the strike.

On the morning of July 29, Russia's Defense Ministry claimed that 295 Ukrainian drones had been "intercepted" overnight over 11 Russian oblasts and Crimea.

Online reports said drones attacked Ryazan overnight and on the morning of July 29, setting fire to a warehouse operated by Russian online marketplace Wildberries and a local oil refinery. Ukraine's General Staff later confirmed a strike on the Ryazan oil refinery, one of Russia's largest, and reported a strike on a Russian Black Sea Fleet base for high-speed boats in Crimea.
