The overnight Russian drone assault on Odesa caused significant damage to the city’s power grid, Ukraine’s energy company DTEK reported on Telegram on Feb. 13.

“The damage is extremely serious,” the company stated.

“We are currently working on site, clearing the debris. We will do everything possible to eliminate the consequences of the attack as quickly as possible.”

The restoration work will take time, with priority given to restoring power to critical infrastructure facilities.

Earlier, the Regional Military Administration reported that the attack killed one person and injured six others. Energy and port facilities were damaged, resulting in interruptions to the electricity, heat, and water supply. Two high-rise apartment buildings were hit.
