Existing security agreements provide Ukraine with $60 billion in annual aid / The New Voice of Ukraine

The series of security agreements Ukraine has signed with international partners since 2023 will enable the country to receive $60 billion in military aid annually over the next four years, Ukrainian PM Denys Shmyhal said on June 28.

Shmyhal noted that Ukraine has already signed 20 security deals with allies, including the United States and the European Union.

“Under these agreements, international partners plan to provide Ukraine with a total of $60 billion in military support annually for the next four years,” he wrote in a Telegram post.

The PM added that this opens new opportunities for cooperation in the realm of defense and will be crucial for Ukraine's post-war security.

During an EU leaders' summit in Brussels on June 27, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed security agreements with the EU, Lithuania, and Estonia.

Prior to this, Ukraine entered into bilateral security deals with the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, Latvia, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, as well as with Sweden, Iceland, Norway, the United States, and Japan.
