"The enemy sent UAVs against Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The military from the East Air Command shot down all the drones. Brilliant work!" the message reads.
The drones were downed over the oblast’s Synelnykove and Pavlohrad districts, wrote the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration, Mykola Lukash.
The rest of the night was quiet in the region, with no more attacks being launched. However, Russians shelled Nikopol District with heavy artillery in the morning of May 21, Lukash added.
"They hit the Myrove area. The people are OK. The consequences of the attack are being clarified," he wrote.
Most of the rest of Ukraine had a quiet night, including Kyiv city and oblast, which has already experienced 11 overnight attacks in the month of May alone.
