Combined Russian attack shatters homes, infrastructure in Kharkiv

Russian forces carried out a combined drone and missile attack on the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv and its suburbs on Jan. 19 morning, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on Telegram, commenting on a series of explosions.
Several districts of the city were targeted.
“An attack drone hit the Saltivka district. The blast wave shattered windows in several houses and damaged cars,” Terekhov wrote, adding that drone debris was also found in the Novobavarsky district.
That same morning, several Russian missiles hit a critical infrastructure facility in the city, causing significant damage.
There have been no reported casualties.
