An oil pumping station was targeted in an overnight drone attack on the city of Krymsk in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai overnight, the Supernova+ Telegram channel reported early on April 9, sharing a video of the fire at the facility.

A series of explosions were heard across the city shortly before the fire started. Regional Governor Veniamin Kondratyev confirmed the attack, claiming that one person was killed.

According to an open-source analysis of photos and videos from the site, the Krymsk linear production and dispatch station, a key node in Russia’s oil pipeline network, was hit. Drones also torched an electrical substation connected to the facility.
