Fire at Moscow oil refinery assigned highest difficulty level after drone attack — Russian media

A large-scale fire broke out at the Moscow Oil Refinery after a Sept. 1 drone attack, according to Russian propaganda media, which cited emergency services.

Russian authorities reported that the fire has been assigned the highest difficulty level.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed that one of the allegedly downed drones damaged a separate facility at the Moscow Oil Refinery.

Russian social media channels claim that in the Moscow district of Kapotnya, where the refinery is located, two explosions were heard. According to residents of Kapotnya and nearby districts, one explosion occurred around 7:30 a.m., followed by the sounds of automatic gunfire and a second explosion approximately 10 minutes later.

Earlier, Russian media reported a massive drone attack on several regions of the aggressor country. Sobyanin claimed that Russian air defenses allegedly shot down at least nine drones in Moscow.
