Fire Point contracts German radars for FREYJA missile defense system

Ukrainian defense contractor Fire Point signed a memorandum of understanding with Germany’s HENSOLDT to supply radar systems for the FREYJA pan‑European ballistic missile defense project, Fire Point told NV at the Eurosatory–2026 defense expo on June 16.

Under the agreement, HENSOLDT will produce, test, and deliver TRML

Fire Point will be responsible for the overall architecture of the missile defense system and for developing, producing, and integrating FP

Fire Point CEO and CTO Iryna Terekh said the deal is a key step for FREYJA, which aims to build an independent system to protect European airspace from ballistic threats.
