Thermal signatures were detected on the grounds of the former 13th Military Town. A fuel depot operated by the Atan gas station network is located about 400 meters southwest of the site, while the Feodosia oil depot lies roughly 500 meters to the northeast.
Overnight into June 22, drones attacked the Tavriiska thermal power plant in Russian-occupied Crimea. Local residents reported explosions and the operation of air defense systems.
There were also reports of an attack on a building used by Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) border service near the railway station in occupied Armyansk.
Overnight into June 21, a major fire broke out at a fuel terminal in the Kerch Sea Fishing Port following a drone attack, while the Russian-installed authorities in Crimea announced a suspension of fuel sales at gas stations.
Ukraine's General Staff later said that the Defense Forces struck an oil terminal in occupied Kerch and the Port Kavkaz facility inside Russia overnight into June 21.
On June 20, Ukrainian forces also targeted the Tyumen oil refinery, located about 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine's border.
Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, published video footage on Telegram showing strikes on fuel storage tanks at the oil-loading terminal in Kerch. He apologized to Ukrainians living in occupied territories for the "constant air raid alerts, closed bridges and roads, darkness, noise and stress," and urged them to stay safe and keep away from military facilities and other flammable sites.
