The Russian military launched a mix of ballistic and cruise missiles at the Ukrainian capital early on Nov. 14, followed by more than a hundred Shahed kamikaze drones.

By 3:13 a.m. local time, local authorities reported at least 12 people injured across the city, with multiple fires caused by either falling debris or direct hits from enemy UAVs and missiles.

The attack damaged sections of Kyiv's central heating system: some buildings in the Desnianskyi district were cut off from the thermal pipeline network.

In the Darnytskyi district, debris fell in the courtyard of a residential building and onto a school. In the Dniprovskyi district, three apartment buildings and a private house were damaged, with a fire breaking out in an open area. The Podilskyi district saw damage to five residential buildings. In Shevchenkivskyi, debris ignited a fire near a medical facility and an administrative building.

A fire was reported on the roof of a residential building in the Solomianskyi district.

Medical and emergency services were dispatched to all affected locations. Potential disruptions to electricity and water supply are expected.
