Emergency crews put out major fires in Volyn after Russian attacks

Rescuers extinguished a fire at a Nova Poshta terminal, preventing it from spreading to the administrative building.
In addition, the State Emergency Service put out a fire in a warehouse building. Rescuers, sappers, fire engines, special equipment and two firefighting robots were deployed at the scene. No casualties were reported.
In Lutsk in Volyn Oblast, a Russian drone strike hit an industrial facility. A multi-story residential building was also damaged, with windows shattered and a fire breaking out on a top-floor balcony.
Overnight on April 1, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 339 strike drones, including Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas types, about 200 of them Shaheds.
As of 8 a.m., air defenses had destroyed or suppressed 298 enemy drones. At the same time, 20 strike drones hit targets at 11 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at five locations.
