Flash says Russia guided Shahed strike that hit his home in targeted attack

“We already know how it happened. We know the Russians used four jet-powered Shaheds. It was a special operation aimed at finding me and eliminating me,” Flash said on the national television.

He said Ukrainian interceptor drones shot down two of them, while the other two reached Kyiv.

“Yes, exactly. This is the first time I have seen our enemy try to eliminate someone this way, with a targeted Shahed strike,” he said, confirming that the drone had been guided online from Russian territory.

According to Beskrestnov, about 20% of Shaheds are already being guided online from Russia via a mesh network.

Overnight on April 20, a Russian jet-powered Shahed hit Beskrestnov’s home. The Defense Ministry adviser later said Russian forces had launched four jet-powered Shaheds at his house.

Beskrestnov posted a photo from the hospital and said he had been wounded. He added that he had been “morally prepared for this.”

Earlier, Russian drones struck the Brovary district in Kyiv Oblast, sparking a fire in a private residential area. The regional military administration said a man born in 1974 had been wounded, matching Beskrestnov’s year of birth.
