If released on bail, Kudrytskyi will have to notify authorities before leaving his residence, wear an electronic tracking bracelet, and surrender his passport.
During the court session, several members of parliament offered to vouch for Kudrytskyi, including lawmakers from the ruling Servant of the People party and opposition parties Holos and European Solidarity.
On Oct. 28, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) detained Kudrytskyi in Lviv Oblast, sources from law-enforcement agencies told NV. He was charged with fraud and money laundering.
The SBI also brought charges against businessman Ihor Hrynkevych: Kudrytskyi and Hrynkevych are accused of appropriating funds from a state enterprise and laundering money during construction of energy facilities in 2018.
