Czech police arrested four foreign nationals for attacking a group of Ukrainian activists in Prague on June 1.

"In connection with Saturday’s [June 1] incident at Old Town Square, police arrested four foreigners at Prague airport," the police announced via Twitter on June 3.

The authorities have launched a criminal probe, investigating multiple criminal offenses.

“Considering the new facts that have come to light, the case will most likely be reclassified,” the message continues.

“Given the ongoing investigation, we will not provide any further information at this time.”

On June 1, a group of Russian-speaking individuals attacked Ukrainian activists in central Prague.

Videos shared on social media appear to show the individuals hitting the volunteers with their hands and feet. The assault was accompanied by profane language directed at Ukrainians and Czechs.
