Russia’s Federal Security Service detained a 55-year-old resident of Feodosia in occupied Crimea for publicly supporting Ukrainian strikes on regional fuel and energy facilities, Russian authorities said on Apr. 1.

The Investigative Committee in Crimea accused the man of “expressing support for the justification of an act of terrorism” in a public place. A criminal case was opened against the Crimean resident.

The Russian propaganda agency RIA Novosti published a video showing security forces detaining the man at his home using physical force.

The FSB said that a resident of the settlement of Prymorskyi publicly supported Ukrainian missile strikes on fuel and energy infrastructure facilities in Feodosia.

In November and December 2025, drones repeatedly attacked the JSC Marine Oil Terminal in Feodosia.
