The diplomats met with international business associations in Ukraine to discuss ways to improve the country’s business and investment climate, they said in a post on Twitter.
“G7 representatives met this morning with international business associations in Ukraine to discuss ways to improve Ukraine’s business and investment climate,” the message said.
“Despite Russian threats, all G7 countries are staying in Kyiv and will continue their work to support Ukraine!”
On May 25, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Russian strikes on Kyiv “have been and will be carried out” in response.
Later, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said its forces were beginning a “consistent infliction of systemic strikes” on military-industrial facilities in Kyiv and urged foreigners to “leave” the Ukrainian capital as soon as possible.
The ministry also threatened strikes on facilities linked to
the design, production and use of drones, as well as on “decision-making
centers and command posts” in Kyiv.
