A total of 490 occupiers were eliminated in Ukraine over the past 24 hours with total Russian losses now exceeding 246,000, the General Stuff reported in its morning update on July 31.
Total military losses of the Russian Federation are now as follows:
- Personnel: 246,190 (+490),
- Tanks: 4,211 (+6),
- Armored combat vehicles: 8,188 (+10),
- Artillery systems: 4,816 (+21),
- Multiple Launch Rocket Systems: 699 (+1),
- Anti-Aircraft Missile Systems: 460 (+1),
- Aircraft: 315 (+0),
- Helicopters: 311 (+0),
- Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs): 4,017 (+6),
- Cruise missiles: 1,347 (+40),
- Ships / Boats: 18 (+0),
- Automotive equipment and tanks: 7,292 (+17),
- Specialized equipment: 715 (+4).
At the beginning of June, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counteroffensive in the south and east of the country, liberating occupied territories and consolidating its positions on the frontlines.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov stated that the recent modest successes of the Ukrainian forces were just a preliminary "preview" of a much larger offensive yet to come.
