UN Secretary-General António Guterres slammed Russia's large-scale missile and drone attacks on several Ukrainian regions, targeting civilians and infrastructure, he posted on X on Nov. 14.

"I strongly condemn Russia’s large-scale missile & drone strikes on several Ukrainian regions," Guterres said. Attacks on civilians are unacceptable and must cease immediately, he added.

The UN chief reiterated his call for an "immediate and unconditional ceasefire" as the first step toward a just and lasting peace that upholds Ukraine's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

During Russia's massive assault on Ukraine on Nov. 14, the enemy deployed 449 targets; Ukrainian defenders neutralized 419. Despite this, impacts were recorded in nearly all Kyiv districts, damaging about 30 residential buildings. Six people were killed in the Russian assault, with 30 others injured.
