As reported by public broadcaster Suspilne, Yusov said the main goal of the recruitment campaign is to show Ukrainians that there is great variety of skills HUR would find useful in a large pool of civilians without prior military training or experience.
Potential candidates must meet several criteria to be eligible to apply. For active-duty units, priority is given to individuals in good physical form and able to perform well under stress, between 18 and 40 years old.
Joining HUR offers extensive training, access to the best modern equipment, and competitive salaries.
“And of course, quality medical care and salary starting from UAH 70,000 ($1,700),” an active-duty HUR officer said at the announcement.
Applications can be submitted via HUR’s website, Lobby-X recruitment platform, or social media accounts of HUR and its units. Once submitted, applications will get a reply within 10 days.
