U.S. President Donald Trump insisted that Iran had agreed to allow inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to visit the country “into infinity” and said Tehran was wrong to deny making the commitment, CNN reported on June 23.

“They’re wrong, they’re wrong, they know they’re wrong,” Trump told reporters.

“They told us inside, and we have it down 100%. And if they were right, I’d cancel the meetings right now.”

When asked when IAEA inspectors would arrive in Iran, Trump declined to give a date. “At the appropriate time. There’s no rush,” he said.

Earlier the same day, Trump wrote on his social platform Truth Social that Iran “has fully and completely agreed to highest level Nuclear inspections long into the future (Infinity!!!)”
