Defence Minister Umerov announces official launch of combined drone coalition for Ukraine

It was noted that Umerov thanked the coalition’s leading countries, Latvia and the United Kingdom, for their important initiative.
“This is an important milestone on the way to achieving technological superiority over our enemy,” Umerov said.
“The serial production and delivery of UAVs will significantly expand the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
Also, the Defence Ministry announced that the coalition is open to any country that wants to help stop Russian aggressive war against Ukraine.
The drone coalition was created by Ukraine and Latvia, and the decision was made during the visit of Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds to Kyiv in December 2023.
On Jan. 25, Sweden and the United Kingdom announced that they are joining a drone coalition for Ukraine.
On Feb. 14 The Netherlands joined a military coalition with allies that will supply Ukraine with advanced unmanned technology (drone coalition) to strengthen its “offensive capabilities” in the war.
