Ukrainian air defenses down 49 of 63 Russian Shahed drones in overnight attack

The air defenses downed 28 drones, while 21 were lost to radar or suppressed by electronic warfare in Ukraine’s east, south, and north. 

Seven sites were hit, and drone debris fell in four locations. 

Kharkiv faced its second consecutive night of attacks, with 11 strikes in the Saltivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Slobidskyi districts, injuring 12 people, including four children, and damaging homes, schools, and infrastructure. 

In Odesa Oblast, Russian drones struck warehouses storing reeds and processing equipment.
