Russian forces struck a kindergarten in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi District with a Molniya drone on Palm Sunday, April 13, damaging the building and nearby apartments but causing no casualties, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on Telegram.
"An enemy Molniya drone struck the Kyivskyi district of the city. The consequences are being clarified," the first message read.
Later, Terekhov wrote that the Russian army had hit a kindergarten.
"The enemy hit a kindergarten in the Kyivskyi district," he said.
“There is no information about the victims at the moment. Windows were smashed, the facade of the building was damaged.”
Windows in the surrounding apartment buildings were also reportedly smashed. There is currently no information about casualties.
On April 13, Russian troops attacked Sumy with a ballistic missile. At least 32 people were killed and more than 80 injured. Two children were among the victims.
