Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with Shahed drones overnight on April 4. Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that one of the drones struck a 14-story building, killing four and injuring 12 people, and destroying several apartments.
Three rescuers were killed during a rescue after a second wave of drones struck.
Russia launched the attack on Ukraine using 20 Shahed-136/131 attack drones. Ukrainian air defense systems successfully downed 11 drones.
