PM Koretskyi submits Cabinet nominations to parliament — full list

Newly appointed Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi submitted his nominations for the updated Cabinet of Ministers to the legislature on July 16, according to Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.

The full list of candidates for ministerial posts in Koretskyi's government was published:

  • Denys Shmyhal — first deputy prime minister and energy minister;
  • Tetiana Berezhna — deputy prime minister for humanitarian policy and culture minister;
  • Vsevolod Chentsov — deputy prime minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration;
  • Vitaliy Bezgin — minister for communities, territories, and internally displaced persons;
  • Matvii Bidnyi — minister of youth and sports;
  • Andrii Butenko — minister of education and science;
  • Ivan Vyhivskyi — interior minister;
  • Taras Vysotskyi — minister of agrarian policy and food;
  • Mykola Kalashnyk — minister of reconstruction, infrastructure and transport;
  • Vitalii Kim — minister for veterans affairs;
  • Oleksandr Kravchenko — minister of economy and environment;
  • Viktor Lyashko — health minister;
  • Sergii Marchenko — finance minister;
  • Denys Maslov — justice minister;
  • Denys Uliutin — minister of social policy, family and unity;
  • Oksana Ferchuk — minister of digital transformation.

"So far, everything is going according to plan (because it's a bad plan), since Vyhivskyi is being nominated for the Interior Ministry," MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote, suggesting that Mykhailo Fedorov would indeed be removed as defense minister, with current Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko expected to take his place.

A parliamentary vote on the new ministers is expected later on July 16.

Earlier that day, the Rada approved President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's nomination of Naftogaz chief Sergii Koretskyi as prime minister, replacing Yulia Svyrydenko.
