Sixty-two of 110 Russian Shahed and imitation drones of various types were shot down over the eastern, northern, western, and central parts of Ukraine overnight, the Air Force reported on Telegram on May 15.
Another 29 drones were suppressed by electronic warfare.
The enemy drones were launched from Russia’s Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, and Rostov oblasts.
Explosions and damage were reported in Ukraine’s Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn, Poltava, Kyiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts.
Earlier, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Governor Svitlana Onyshchuk reported that several groups of drones had attacked the oblast from different directions.
Several buildings were damaged, and a fire broke out in the suburbs of Kyiv.
