Ammonia leak in Kyiv as city hit by two dozen ballistic missiles overnight

As of 2:48 a.m., local authorities said 12 people were injured in the attack, which also included several Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles and jet-powered kamikaze drones. Some missiles were carrying cluster warheads, with video footage showing cascading detonations caused by them.
Explosions and damage were recorded at more than seven locations in the Holosiivskyi, Obolon, Desnianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts, damaging mostly non-residential buildings and triggering large fires at warehouse facilities, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. Emergency crews were searching for people believed to be trapped under rubble in Holosiivskyi.
Officials reported an ammonia leak after a strike on a nonresidential building in the Holosiivskyi district. According to Kyiv City State Administration, the attack ruptured a cistern containing around 300 liters of ammonia.
Overall, at least seven locations across the city were
targeted in the attack.
