16 dead in Russian strike on Kyiv as rescue operations conclude

The Russian aerial barrage killed 16 people, wounded 42 others. Emergency workers managed to rescue 12 people.

Emergency crews in the Solomianskyi district dismantled five concrete floor slabs and cleared 62 cubic meters of rubble.

Recovery work at the site is scheduled to resume in the morning.
